President Barack Obama! Fuck yes! Fuck yes! Fuck yes! What an amazing fucking moment to be a Democrat. I was in downtown Phoenix, at the Democratic Election Night Party watching this awesome moment with hundreds of other great Democrats.
When 9:00 approached and they were counting down the seconds until California's polls closed, everybody was chanting. When we got to zero, and instead of just getting the call for California, CNN called the whole fucking election for Obama, the place went totally insane. I've been to a lot of concerts, sporting events, even the first game of the Diamondback's world series in 01, but nothing, fucking nothing matched this. The noise and celebration were fucking amazing. Everybody was yelling, hi five-ing, and hugging everybody else. It was the most fucking amazing moment I've ever been through.
President Obama's speech was outstanding and a great lead in to his presidency.
Fucking A! I'm still pumped and I've been home for 5 hours.
